Start With What Hurts
What you feel
A stiff neck by mid-afternoon, shoulders that sit up by your ears, and a headache that starts at the base of the skull.
What the session does
Deep tissue work on the upper traps, levator, and suboccipitals releases the muscles that hold a screen posture, and the headache pattern eases with it.
Deep Tissue, 50 or 80 minutes
What you feel
Legs that stay heavy two days after a run or lift, tight hips and hamstrings, and range of motion that never quite comes back.
What the session does
Sports massage moves fluid out of worked muscle, restores length in the hip flexors and hamstrings, and treats the specific tissue your sport loads.
Sports and Therapeutic, or the 90-minute Rebuild
What you feel
A low back that seizes when you stand, a shoulder that never healed right, or tension that returns within days of the last massage.
What the session does
Precision work finds the trigger points and fascial restrictions behind the pattern and treats them at the pressure they need, with a plan across visits.
Precision Pain Relief, 90 minutes
What you feel
You sleep but do not rest, your jaw is tight, and downtime feels like waiting for the next thing.
What the session does
Heat and slow, deep pressure move the nervous system out of a stress response. Hot stone and Swedish sessions are the ones men book when the goal is to reset.

The Banyan & Bamboo Standard
How It Works
Muscle that is loaded the same way every day, at a desk or in training, shortens and thickens along its lines of stress. The fascia around it tightens, blood flow drops, and small knots of contracted fibers, trigger points, start to refer pain elsewhere: a tight trap becomes a headache, a locked hip becomes a sore low back.
Deep tissue massage applies slow, sustained pressure that lets those layers release rather than guard. Sports massage adds movement: assisted stretching to restore length, cross-fiber work along the tissue your sport loads, and cupping to lift fascia and move fluid out of worked muscle. Both raise circulation to the area, which is what shortens recovery.
Pressure is set at intake and adjusted as you go. Deep does not mean painful. It means specific.

The Menu
Every session is 50 or 80 minutes. Eighty covers the full back, hips, and legs with time to spare on the areas that need it.
90-Minute Sessions
Cupping to lift fascia and flush the legs, assisted stretching to restore range, and deep work where you train hardest.
Trigger point and fascial work for chronic pain and old injuries, at the pressure the tissue needs.
Full-body Swedish and deep tissue in one session. The one to book when everything hurts a little.
Banyan Luxe members receive 5 to 10 percent off every session, and the monthly credit rolls over. Membership details.

What to Expect
Step 1
Two minutes on where it hurts, how you train, and how much pressure you want. You can change your mind mid-session and we will adjust.
Step 2
Fifty, eighty, or ninety minutes in a private room with heated table and dim light. Draping is standard, and the work goes where the intake pointed.
Step 3
Water, a few stretches for the areas we worked, and a note on when to come back. Most men on a training schedule book every 2 to 3 weeks.
