Banyan & Bamboo is a boutique day spa and med spa. Our body scrub borrows one thing from Korean skincare: the Italy-mitt exfoliation technique that lifts away layers of dead skin a loofah cannot reach. The setting is ours.
Your treatment happens in a private massage room, with a licensed massage therapist who understands the body, adjusts pressure to your comfort, and gives you their full attention for the entire session.
We are a dry spa. After two full towels and rough mitt exfoliation head-to-toe passes, your therapist will complete your treatment with a warm jojoba oil pass to hydrate and create a silky, smooth, radiant finish. Clean, private, and complete. No shower needed, and no pools, saunas, or shared scrub rooms anywhere in the building.

You arrive at your private massage room. You are draped and comfortable throughout the entire treatment, just as you would be for a massage.

First Italy Mitt Pass
Using a traditional Korean Italy exfoliation mitt, your therapist works through the entire body with firm, rhythmic strokes from head to toe. Dead skin rolls away visibly. The results are immediate.
Second Italy Mitt Pass
A second full head-to-toe pass with the mitt goes deeper, removing any remaining buildup and ensuring every area is thoroughly exfoliated. This is what makes the finish so dramatically smooth.
Jojoba Oil Glow Finish
