How It Works
Men's skin is about 25 percent thicker than women's, produces more oil, and gets shaved. Thicker skin holds dead cells longer, so the surface dulls and pores stay packed. More oil means more blackheads and more shine. Shaving removes the top layer every day or two and drives hairs back under it, which is where razor bumps and ingrowns come from.
The Modern Man Facial is built for that skin. Steam and a stronger exfoliant clear the thicker surface. Extractions are done properly, including the ingrown hairs along the jaw and neck, so they stop cycling. A treatment mask absorbs oil or calms razor irritation depending on what we see. The finish is matte and unscented, and there is nothing to maintain except a cleanser and a sunscreen.
Sun damage from years outside, dark spots, and lines are a different job: resurfacing and peels for the surface, microneedling for texture, and injectables when structure or movement is the issue. Your aesthetician tells you which, and when a facial is enough.

What to Expect
Step 1
What bothers you, how you shave, what you use. Most men use one product or none, and that is a fine starting point.
Step 2
Cleanse, steam, exfoliate, extractions, a treatment mask, and a finish that leaves no shine. Sixty minutes, unscented products, and nothing you have to talk through.
Step 3
You leave with a cleanser and an SPF or moisturizer, and a date about a month out. Nothing else unless you ask.
